Storage of Empty ULDs
For a safe, professional and clean work environment, Dyba Tech has simple solutions. These include solutions for storing empty ULDs, for which there is a distinction between pallets and containers.
Stacking Rack Pallets
Our stacking rack SR51 is a heavy steel frame in which empty 10 ft pallets can be easily collect and stacked. After creating a neat stack of up to 20 pallets with a forklift, the stack is prepared for strapping, transport to a cargo trailer, aircraft or for internal storage in a pallet storage rack SR01.
The neat stack simplifies the loading into a cargo trailer. After all, there are no protruding pallets that do not fit through the door opening. Using multiple stacking bins facilitates the sorting and storage of pallets by airline. In short, a lot of time can be saved with this solution!
Storage Rack Pallets
Our pallet storage rack SR01 is a heavy steel structure in which empty 10ft pallets (ULDs) can be stored. The pallets are moved to, and from, the storage rack with a forklift.
The storage rack consists of modular sections, which can be expanded according to capacity requirements. For space saving purposes, it is possible to store up to 4 levels high. Applying multiple racks facilitates the sorting and storage of pallets by airline.
Storage Rack Containers
Our container storage rack SC01 is a heavy steel structure in which empty containers (ULDs) can be stored. The containers are moved to and from the storage rack with a forklift.
The storage rack consists of modular sections, which can be expanded according to capacity requirements. The construction is easy to customize to the available space. This means that the width, depth and height of the storage rack can be made to measure. For space saving purposes, it is possible to store up to 3 levels high. Installing multiple racks facilitates the sorting and storage of containers per airline.
The storage is suitable for containers with a width of 60.4 inches and with a maximum height of 64 inches. Commonly used containers are LD1 / LD2 / LD3 / LD4.
If outdoor storage is chosen, the steel structure is equipped with wind catchers, which enable the containers to remain safely in place, even in high winds. If there’s no lack of space, a more simple ground level storage can also be chosen. This is advantageous for the investment, but less advantageous for the required surface area.
